The Manitowoc Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of cranes. The US group's GROVE truck-mounted cranes are manufactured at the Wilhelmshaven site. In order to increase its competitiveness, the company is currently investing in high-tech production equipment and an optimized material flow around the traditional halls. The centerpiece is a 60 m long CLOOS laser welding/cutting system, around which the production of telescopic booms revolves.
